Bridlington U3A

Where: The market town and port of Bridlington is situated in East Yorkshire on the north east coast of England, where the promontory known as Flamborough Head juts out into the North Sea. The sheltered spot below the promontory has become known as Bridlington Bay. Bridlington is steeped in history with a 900 year old working harbour, a heritage coastline and a high street in the Old Town that is teeming with ancient buildings. Bridlington also boasts sandy beaches and award winning promenades where you can sit to eat the famous British fish and chips.

Membership: Bridlington U3A started in September 2007 and it has enjoyed a period of rapid growth with now almost 900 members enjoying almost 100 groups of varying activities. We are also a member of the Yorkshire And Humberside Regional U3A (YAHR U3A).
Activities: Our activities cover a wide selection and includes :- Languages, French, German, Italian, Spanish, at all levels. Music, Join an award winning Choir ”Chantons") or Singing for Fun, Recorder, Learn to play for fun or for our Orchestra, Jazz, Acoustic Guitar, Art, Painting, Acrylics, Watercolour, Oils for all abilities, Dancing, Tap, Ballroom. Walks, Short, Medium, Long or just sociable strolling. Reading & Writing, Book Group, Literary Studies, Radio Play writing, Play reading, Writing Memories, Poetry Appreciation, Calligraphy. Day & Theatre Trips Various. Cards & Games, Canasta, Whist, Rummikub. Discussion Groups, Technical & Friendly. Social, U3A Lunches, Coffee Morning, Beer & Bridge.
